My jsme Yelling Orangutans, a jsme kapela z pražských Vinohrad, která vychází ze zvuku americké a britské rockové scény.

Hrajeme vlastní, anglickou tvorbu ovlivněnou našimi oblíbenými kapelami, mezi které patří The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd a z novějších třeba Oasis, Pearl Jam nebo Greta Van Fleet. Baví nás dělat melodické rockové písničky se zajímavými vokály s přesahem do dalších žánrů jako je pop nebo rock’n’roll.

Do současné podoby jsme se zformovali na jaře roku 2021 a už na podzim jsme stihli odehrát první tři koncerty.

Na jaře 2022 jsme vydali první singl „Kick Off“, které o rok později doplnilo EP „Blurred Lines“ a další singl „Lucky“. Několik našich písniček prolétlo éterem a hrály se v rádiích jako Hey, Rock Radio, Fajn Rock nebo Radio Beat v rámci pořadu Rock Music. Na podzim 2023 jsme vyhráli hitparádu rádia Rock Zone 105,9FM a celkem jsme v ní vydrželi sedm týdnů.

We are Yelling Orangutans, a band from Prague, drawing inspiration from the sound of the American and British rock scene.

We play original English songs influenced by our favorite bands such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, and more recent ones like Oasis, Pearl Jam, or Greta Van Fleet. We enjoy creating melodic rock songs with distinctive vocals that often cross over into other genres such as pop or rock’n’roll.

We took our current form in the spring of 2021, and by autumn, we had already played our first three shows.

In the spring of 2022, we released our debut single “Kick Off”, followed a year later by the EP “Blurred Lines” and another single, “Lucky”. Several of our songs have hit the airwaves, being played on stations such as Hey Radio, Rock Radio, Fajn Rock, and Radio Beat as part of the Rock Music program. In autumn 2023, we won the Rock Zone 105.9 FM chart and stayed in it for seven weeks.

We regularly perform in clubs and at festivals across the Czech Republic, with the highlight so far being our performance at the United Islands of Prague festival.
